The Premium Canadian Murphy Bed is a vertical wall bed built around a laser-cut, powder-coated steel exoskeleton frame — not the MDF or particleboard most Murphy beds hide inside. It is the only wall bed assembled directly on the wall.

Is it hard to assemble or use?

No! It is the only wall bed assembled directly on the wall, and one person can install it in about an hour using the multiple wall-attachment points — no bolting to the floor. We provide a list of the tools you will require, and some of the specific tools are included. Instructional videos and written instructions are included with the product.

How sturdy is it? What can it hold?

Extremely sturdy. The Murphy bed has been tested to 2,400 pounds. Our hardware is tested up to 10,000 cycles, or about 30+ years of normal use.

Is a mattress included?

The bed is designed for a standard mattress. The ideal mattress thickness is 9" to 10", which allows bedding to be added while still folding properly. The spring-lift can be tuned to your exact mattress weight. You can add one of our recommended mattresses at checkout, or use a mattress you already own.
